About Me

In seeking a wedding chaplain for your Special Day, it is always important

to know their ordination and formal certifications and credentials.

A Blessing From Above ministries was founded in 2007. I completed

my education and formal ordination through the Church of Christ in June of 2008. We have congregational membership and active affiliation with a local non-denominational church in Virginia Beach. Both he and I are legally certified to perform and administer all Rites of Marriage throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. Our ordination credentials

are also valid in the State of North Carolina.

My goal and purpose is to bring together all couples that truly wish to bond their lives

together in life and spirit, with love and commitment, throughout their life together.

The Ceremony

Some couples prefer a simple ritual of marriage with a small audience. Other couples look to design their Wedding Day complete with a few special touches. I cater to both.

I like to get to know all of our couples face to face and on a first-name basis. It helps me to learn more about you and their desires for the special day. It also allows me to become more of a friend to the couple, and helps make them more comfortable knowing who I am when I arrive on your wedding day.

For those coming in from out of state, I do my absolute best to meet with you whenever you are in the area taking care of arrangements for your wedding. If time is limited and that isn't possible, we can do everything by telephone and email, or even video conference through SKYPE! I can also refer you to other professional, reliable local vendors for your wedding

if you are unfamiliar with the area. If you decide on having a rehearsal, then we would meet at the rehearsal dinner to make sure everything is as you wish it to be.

A Simple Price of $250.00

This includes a Free Consultation, as well as Phone and e-mail consultation afterwards when needed. You are welcome to my home location where you can be united in holy matrimony. You have the options to add in a sweet Unity Ritual that represents your Commitment on that day. You can even choose to incorporate a Special Passage, Poem, or Bible Verse that speak to the heart of your relationship. I can also come to your location as well, throughout the Hampton Roads & Peninsula area.

Designer Ceremony with

Your Personal Style $350.00

If you would like to add in changes that make the ceremony more personal, this is the way to do it. I sit with you at lease 30-60 days before the wedding to discuss how you would like the script to flow, that best represents your personal love story.

A Rehearsal is available, where we practice the ceremony.

Sometime having a larger wedding party makes it necessary to have a run through, typically done the night before. It does give a peace of mind for the wedding party to know how to set themselves up the night before. $100.00

Securing the original Marriage License from your local Virginia court house is the responsibility of the couple. Your Marriage License Paperwork is brought to me by you prior to the Wedding Ceremony, sometimes even at the rehearsal.

After the Wedding, I file it with the Courthouse personally via Certified Mail.

Typically you can secure a copy from the courthouse within 2 weeks for name changes where needed.

Service Area

My general service area is Virginia Beach and the Hampton Roads Area of Virginia.

We are available for travel throughout The Commonwealth of Virginia and North Carolina.

Any distances beyond 30 minutes of our travel time

from Virginia Beach will incur a Travel Fee.

My DJ work can also extend to the Wedding Reception where

When booking it as an "all-inclusive" package, microphone audio,

& music for your wedding ceremony can be provided at no extra charge,

as long as your ceremony & reception are hosted at the same venue.
